More About the Trak T1600
The Trak T1600 doesn’t really belong on this website as it is not an inflatable boat. However, it does fit into a carrying pack and can easily be brought with you anywhere. It easily snaps together in an eight piece frame and has a polyurethane skin. I had to include it as it is just as easily set up and usable as an inflatable kayak and is really an exciting boat.
It is a phenomenal transforming kayak that will likely last you a lifetime with a little care. It is the world’s only high performance kayak that can fit into a pack and go with you anywhere.
Why Is the Trak so Special?
The Trak T1600 has hydraulics inside the cockpit that allows you to instantly shift the shape of the kayaks hull so that you can have optimum performance whether dealing with high winds or changing water conditions. No other kayak that fits into a bag has ever offered this option. You can literally loosen the center jack so that the hull lies flat for maximum speed as well as stability. Or if you need more maneuverability you can increase the tension so that the ends bow up. You can even transform the kayak so that the bow bends into a right or left facing position to combat strong winds. It is truly an unbelievable water craft.
