More About the Sevylor XK2

The Sevylor XK2 is the tandem version of the XK1. Please read my full review on the Sevylor XK1 for in depth details and information. They are the exact same kayak except for size and weight. The Sevylor XK2 can hold an extra 250 pounds, weighs an extra 16 pounds and is just over 3 feet longer.

The XK2 has ample room for two people plus extra gear or a dog. This is a recreational river kayak that is self-bailing and works well in whitewater as well as ocean surf. Please read the Sevylor XK1 review for more details.

Final Thoughts on the Sevylor XK2

This tandem version of the Sevylor river kayak also works great for traveling as it is still light enough to pack into a suitcase without any extra fees. The fact that it can perform on all types of water (not superbly, but decent enough) gives it great versatility and will likely appeal to many easy recreational kayakers.
