More about the NRS Kodiak Cataraft

This is one of the NRS Catarafts that was designed for performance as well as stability and can handle big water. It can carry a very large amount of weight with its 27” tubes and is highly maneuverable. This inflatable boat is fantastic for fishing, sport boating and even for carrying passengers and gear to and from a larger vessel.

One of the great things about the NRS Catarafts is that each cataraft tube includes their three-chamber safety system. What this does is it divides the tubes into three separate chambers which provides flotation during emergency deflation. All of the NRS Cataraft tubes have this safety feature and though you will likely never need to use them they do provide for a very safe and rugged inflatable boat, as well as good peace of mind.

The inner and outer chambers inflate to a maximum of 2.5 psi quickly and easily – once you know what you are doing. This boat is easily transported, as long as you have space for the frame (which is sold separately). If you don’t want to bother with the burden of transporting the frame Sea Eagle has a great frameless pontoon boat.
