The Airis Tender was designed to go from ship to shore with lots of gear and groceries. With its super rigid design it is very sturdy and stable as well as very easy to get in and out.
Unique Connect-a-Yak system
The unique feature that the Tender offers is its Connect-a-Yak connector system. Basically you can connect two or more boats bow-to-stern to create a tandem kayak which provides the option to paddle with others as well as fetch additional passengers or haul more gear. This kayak is completely versatile, functional and not to mention fun. There is also an option to add the GTS Pro Seat which offers more back support and comfort.
The assembly is very quick and simple and though it weighs thirty-eight pounds it can still easily deflate and fit into the Airis backpack provided and be carried on your back. Once you get to shore the bowline and paddle holder will keep everything in place until you return to your kayak.
In a League of Its Own
Airis kayaks have extra material added in high wear areas and are built to last for a very long time. They have more stretch and are more tear and scrape resistant than any other inflatable kayak. They simply cannot be compared to other inflatable kayaks.
Airis kayaks are so rigid that they feel much more like a hard-shelled kayak. They are made using AirWeb High Pressure Construction which makes it possible to inflate an Airis kayak to more than 6.5 PSI or 0.45 bar. This is up to six times the maximum air pressure of other inflatable kayaks. Consequently they have a hull that is unbelivably rigid and durable without having to use any aluminum inserts or complicated frame parts. Assembly time therefore is extremely quick and simple.
