Whitewater Inflatable Kayaks

Whitewater paddling can range from paddling down a slow moving river to maneuvering through dangerous and crazy rapids. The level of the whitewater rapids are graded by their difficulty and severity and grouped into classes ranging from class I which is very mild and easy up to class VI which is extremely severe and more or less unrunnable.

There has been a common belief that an inflatable kayak will not be able to hold its own in whitewater rapids. However the inflatables that are available today are unbelievably sturdy and rugged and many will rival the performance of a hard shelled kayak in rapids up to class IV. Plus they have the advantage of being highly portable and easily stored.
